August Update

August was another busy month for careers events and science fairs in the Central North Island.

Ambassadors Marcel Jekel, Ben Foote (both from Fonterra) and Rukshan de Silva (Tesla Consultants) talk to students about careers in engineering.

Careers events

Katikati College, Mount Maunganui College, Te Awamutu College, Matamata College, Hamilton Boys’ High School and Rotorua Girls’ High School all held careers events in August. At each of these events, Futureintech Ambassadors were on hand to talk to students and their parents, caregivers and teachers about careers in technology, engineering and science.

Science fairs

Futureintech Ambassadors volunteered to be judges at science fairs in Whakatane and Hamilton, and enjoyed talking to students about their projects.
