Fiona Barrow
I am delighted to be part of the Futureintech team. Being a Futureintech Facilitator allows me to encourage students to continue studying maths, science and technology and introduce them to the career opportunities these subjects have to offer.
My qualifications include degrees in Computer Science, Information Science, and Applied Fashion Technology, and a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary).
I have spent several years working in the IT industry as a developer and systems administrator, as well as several years in tertiary education as a lecturer in computing and information technology. More recently I have worked part time in the fashion industry and the hospitality industry.
I am passionate about education and helping students get the most out of their abilities and opportunities. As a Facilitator I am in a great position to do this.
