Futureintech supports maths, science, technology and careers teaching
Futureintech is active in primary, intermediate and secondary schools around New Zealand.
Coordinated by a team of Regional Facilitators, graduates in a range of industries volunteer to visit schools as Futureintech Ambassadors. They support the maths, science and technology curricula by working with students on projects, describing their jobs or offering career advice.
The following sections tell you about the hands-on activities that Ambassadors can bring to schools, share the month's new stories from each of the regions,
introduce the Regional Facilitators, and link you to the Transpower Neighbourhood Engineers Awards and other curriculum-based activities that we support.
You can also order careers brochures and posters for free, read more about our programmes in our e-newsletters, and have a look at the Handbook that we provide to the Ambassadors to make sure they can deliver the best presentation or activity in your classroom.
